LICENCE TO DRIVE
A dashing, safe new way to get about. And all you need is a standard driving licence.
NOW EVEN SAFER
Three wheels for unrivaled grip and stability, ABS with ASR traction control and integrated pedal brake – all make for maximum safety.
Comfort and technology come together to create unparalleled driving pleasure. Drivers of the 500cc can select their preferred driving mode via the Ride-by-Wire system.
The roll lock feature means you don’t need the kickstand to park and can stop at the traffic lights without having to rest your feet on the ground.
MORE POWER AND TORQUE
The Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 ABS-ASR is the admiral of the Italian three-wheel fleet. With its 25.5 kW at 7250 rpm power and torque of 45.5 Nm at 5000 rpm it meets the needs of all drivers and only requires a standard driving licence. Whether you need something to get you around town, or a more exhilarating ride for longer trips, the 500 will deliver. The roomy seat, spacious foot pad (with integral brake pedal) and the protective windshield make this vehicle ideal for all requirements.
Under the seat you’ll find a compartment fitted with a courtesy light and mat and able to hold two full-face helmets, whilst a second space above the instrument cluster contains two sections and a USB socket.
Safety is paramount on the MP3 Sport 500 ABS-ASR with two independent tilting front wheels and articulated quadrilateral suspension ensuring stability on even the bumpiest surfaces and the large tyres delivering double the grip on slippery roads. It also includes ABS anti-lock and ASR traction control to ensure maximum stability with every manoeuvre.
EVERYTHING JUST A CLICK AWAY
The seat of the Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 ABS-ASR can be unlocked with a remote control which also doubles up as a Bike Finder which sets off the indicators, making it easy to locate your scooter in a crowded parking lot. The seat eases up smoothly thanks to the convenient shock absorber mechanism. There is also a practical parking brake lever on the rear shield.
The Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 ABS-ASR is fitted with a front suspension blocking mechanism which keeps the scooter balanced on all three wheels so you don’t need to rest your feet on the ground to stay upright when you stop for lights or a pedestrian crossing. When you’re ready to move off, simply step on the gas or press a button. Parking becomes so much simpler as you no longer need to use the stand.
DEDICATED COLOUR SCHEMES
The Sport version of the Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 ABS-ASR is distinguished by the “Sport” plate on the rear of the tail and the numerous items in matt grey finish, the diamond-edged wheel rims and central tunnel moulding. The black seat of the Sport version is notable for its lining in two different materials and red stitching. The standard black (Nero Opaco Carbonio) is joined by three new colours: matt grey (Grigio Opaco), white (Bianco Pastello) and green (Verde Opaco).
The smoke-grey windshield can be adjusted to three different heights whilst the headlights and indicators have seven high-efficiency LED daytime lights, technology usually seen in the four-wheel world. The rear lights also use LED technology. The wheel rims boast an elegant five-split-spoke design and the instrument cluster pairs two analogue elements with a central multi-function LCD panel.
THE BEST OF TECHNOLOGY
The Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 ABS-ASR is powered by a single cylinder, Euro 4, 493 cc, 4T engine with four-valve timing and single overhead cam shaft. The “Ride-by-Wire” system allows drivers to select a driving mode from two engine maps, depending on whether they want to favour low fuel consumption or enjoy a high-performance experience.
